Using this website

This website is provided for information. We take care to keep it accurate, but it does not form an offer, and nothing on it is a binding quotation. Any engagement or commission is governed by the written terms we agree with you at the time.

Commissions and orders

Every Adaré piece is made to order. Prices, specifications, delivery times and any deposit are confirmed in a written quotation before work begins, and that quotation — together with these terms — forms our agreement.

Pieces designed or altered to your specification, including engraving and ring sizing, are personalised goods. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 they are not covered by the 14-day cancellation right. Your statutory rights in respect of goods that are faulty or not as described are unaffected.

Gemstones and metals

Natural gemstones vary; photographs are representative. Any treatment of a stone (such as heating) is disclosed in your quotation and on its laboratory report where one is provided.

Collection names

Our collections are named in tribute to historical figures and to Sri Lankan tradition. Adaré is independent and has no connection with, or endorsement from, any person, family or estate associated with those names.

Intellectual property

All text, photography, designs and marks on this site belong to Najiba Ventures Limited or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own use; you may not reproduce them commercially without our written permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the general information on this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
